What is Optimus Prime's real name? ›

Before the Great War, Optimus Prime was originally known as Orion Pax; a young data clerk who worked in Iaco, under the wing of Alpha Trion. Orion was chosen by the High Council and became Optimus Prime, upon being entrusted with the Matrix of Leadership by Primus himself.

The treatment featured the Autobots Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Jazz, Prowl, Arcee, Ratchet, Wheeljack, and Bumblebee, and the Decepticons Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak, Rumble, Skywarp and Shockwave. Steven Spielberg, a fan of the comics and toys, signed on as executive producer in 2004.

Bumblebee (2018)

Bumblebee is the main protagonist of the spin-off film of the same name. Designated as B-127, he first appears in Cybertron with comrades, including Optimus Prime.

In reference to another story about her auditioning for her Transformers role, Fox said she was 19 or 20 at the time and had to pretend "to work on one of Michael's Ferraris... there were several other crew members and employees present and I was at no point undressed or anything similar.
